Silly Thoughts

We had an activity/talent night, and this poem is what I graced my home members with....

There was a man named Ted
Who knew he'd never wed
But one fine day
He met Miss Fay
And took back all he'd said

A wife OK, but a child won't do
Too much work through and through
But what a fright
On that wedding night
She announced when she'd be due.

One baby well that's fine
Won't take up too much time
But oh the shock
When from the doc
He learned there was really nine.

The moral of these silly thoughts
Is don't fill your mind with no's and not's
For what you refuse
Life will choose
To give you lots and lots.
