Oh, and I finally fit into my pre-PG clothes. Yay!! What a joy! But I doubt anyone is interested in that so I just won't mention it. :-)

Sunday

On Sunday we had an Open House/COL type of event. Quite a few people came and it went very well.



Me showing some happy people one of my kid's portfolio. The guy, who is our neighbor, was a school teacher and had made the math work books that the schools, where we live, use. He was very impressed with how we keep records and with the work the children do. Too bad there is no better picture.

Happy Birthday Almendra

I have lived with Almendra for almost 4 years now. She helped school my 2 boys for the better part of those years. She's fun to hang out with. We always have interesting conversations, usually about the same things, but they are never boring..heh. We've been through the good times and the bad times, though I dare say I can't remember any bad times. She's been a great friend and we have definitely had our share of fun and goofy times.











Here's to many more fun and goofy times when you come back from South America. And "Happy Birthday". May it be the most interesting year yet.

Pirate Party

Kenny had his 6th birthday on Wednesday. We celebrated it today with a pirate party. First was special drinks, then a treasure hunt with a real treasure map, games, cake and ice-cream and a movie, "Swiss Family Robinson." Looked like the kids had lots of fun!

Great Ambitions

Arkos and Liani were outside with their bikes. Liani got on Arkos's bike and started riding it around. He commented, "How can you do that? You can ride a bike that is too big for you!" To which Liani matter-of-factly replied, "Yes, I could be famous."
